How Neli’s Oven began
My Story
I love to bake, so I started a business selling different cookies, treats, cakes and sweets to be able to share them with the good people of SoCal. I’m based in Torrance, 90501.
I’ve always loved baking, since I was a little girl. I’d watch bakers on YouTube for hours as a child. Some I still hold dear to my heart are big accounts like Rosanna Pansino’s Nerdy Nummies in 2011, and around that same time I really enjoyed a smaller account: a kind Canadian woman named Tammy who ran a channel called yoyomax12, also on YouTube. She’s grown significantly since the 2010s, and I always loved watching her make special things for her son, Max. I’ve watched since I was a kid, and still do now in my adulthood.
I always knew I’d forever be Neli’s Oven.
I think watching these women really inspired me, because the thought of wanting to bake something special for someone, or to create something with my hands, always stayed in the back of my mind for the longest time.
Ever since December of 2025, when my daughter Neli was born, I juggled the idea of making something for myself. A business, something that I can be proud of, something my daughter could be a part of. Pregnancy changed the way I looked at life & who I became as a person. After having my little bun in the oven for so long, and how hard it was to make the transition from carrying her to having her here in the real world, I always knew I’d forever be Neli’s Oven.
My love for my daughter and my love for baking perfectly intertwined, and it feels like this was my calling. It was exactly what I’m supposed to be doing.
My daughter and her father are my biggest inspirations.
